Off road tires must endure heavier punishment They run over "tire killers" that most tires never face, like jagged rocks, sharp-edged concrete, piercing scrap metal, jutting rebar and other construction debris. That's why the makers of SAFETY-SEAL developed a Heavy Duty formula. It is specifically formulated to lock out leaks and lock in air pressure to keep equipment running.

Heavy Duty SAFETY-SEAL contains millions of additional synthetic fibers which are larger and stronger. These heavy concentrations plug punctures that would stop an untreated tire dead in its tracks and cause work stoppage. Punctures of 1/2 inch and larger are not uncommon in off-road conditions. With treated tires, the equipment operator may never even sense the leak or need to shut down for a tire repair.

At the moment of a leak, a greater number of these larger, heavier fibers race into the puncture area, propelled by centrifugal force and the jet action of the escaping air.

Instantly, the fibers seal the leak--without a loss of air pressure. Then, as the tire flexes under vehicle weight and rotation, the multi-sized fiber interlock to form a permanently fused plug.

The treatment also seals bead, rim and hard-to-trace leaks, preventing up to 95 percent of job-stopping tire failures. A single application lasts the life of the tire tread and will reduce the risk of blowouts. This extends tire service-ability, saves costly downtime for repairs and adds to crew and operation safety.

The treatment is effective in all tubeless tires or steel rims. It is water soluble for quick, easy clean up and remains stable to -30 degrees.
