ELIMINATES TIRE PUNCTURES AND POROSITY LEAKS. ESPECIALLY EFFECTIVE IN ALL TYPES OF BICYCLE AND WHEELCHAIR TIRES. Whether you ride for exercise or just for fun, now you can take advantage of SAFETY-SEAL's advanced air lock technology, proven in over a million flat-free miles in bicycles worldwide. Bicycle and wheelchair tires are subjected to Flats the same as automotive tires, running over nails, small screws, glass, etc. That's why the makers of SAFETY-SEAL formulated a special tire sealant for bicycles and wheelchairs that prevents leaks and locks in the air pressure to keep the riders up and running. SAFETY-SEAL tire sealant contains millions of space age hi-tech fibers suspended in a carefully designed solution containing multiple components that provide smooth flowing corrosion protection, rubber preservation, and freeze protection. SAFETY-SEAL does not employ rubber attacking solvents. SAFETY-SEAL tire sealant remains liquid inside the tire. As the tire rotates, the material spreads evenly over the inside surface. Centrifugal force, plus the jet action of escaping air, propels SAFETY-SEAL tire sealant into any opening in the tread, lower sidewall, bead or rim area. The mixture is designed to adhere to the sides of the opening and builds to a solid plug as the rubber spreads under load. This process takes only a few revolutions and is repeated when the nail or other foreign object is removed. There are many types of tire sealant on the market (aerosols and liquid) that are not effective in the normal "high pressure" type applications such as found in bicycle tubes. Many are explosive and/or Flammable and should not be used where the chance of spark could cause a problem. SAFETY-SEAL is non-flammable and is water soluble. The average application for most bicycle tires and/or wheelchair tires is 4 ounces per tire. SAFETY-SEAL is installed by removing the valve core and squeezing the product into the tire. After treatment, replace the valve core, re-inFlate the tire to recommended air pressure and rotate the wheel several times. You are now ready to ride the bicycle. |
